Allie Sue Davis, age 68, of Himyar, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her home.

She was a daughter of the late Mary Jackson Davis and Harrison Davis, Sr. born to them on December 30, 1943 at Acorn Fork in Bell County.

Allie Sue worked and retired from Warners of Barbourville; and was a member of the Himyar Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Jackson Davis and Harrison Davis, Sr.; her infant sister: Irene Davis; and her brother: Harrison Davis, Jr.; and by a brother-in-law: John Warren.

Allie Sue is survived by her loving family: her two sisters: Shirley Warren of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Lucy Valentine and husband, Stan of New Boston, Michigan.
Her three brothers: Edward Davis and wife, Vesta of Himyar; Ronnie L. Davis and wife, Kathy of Himyar; and Jack Davis and wife, Robin of Barbourville.
Her special friend: Rick Williamson of Himyar.
Her sister-in-law: Sharron Davis of Himyar.
Her Aunt: Ludema Garza of Elkton, Maryland; and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services for Allie Sue Davis will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 15, 2012 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Smith and Rev. Jerry Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery at Himyar.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Shane Davis, Tony Landrum, Tony Ross, Chris Smith, John Warren, Jr., Eddie Warren, Mike Warren, and Mike Valentine.
Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all friends and neighbors of the Davis family.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

The Davis family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Friday, and on after 11:00 A.M. on Saturday until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M.
