Obituary

Anna Mae Bunch, age 64, of Barbourville,  passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Baptist Health in Lexington.  She was a daughter of the late Andy and Ellen (Lucy) Peters, born to them on March 12, 1954 in Barbourville.

She was a retired Certified Respiratory Therapist at Barbourville ARH,  and a Member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

On  June 12, 1971, she united in marriage to Joel Lee Bunch, and to this union two sons: Jimmy Ray and Terry Dwayne, and a daughter: Kayla Suzanne were born.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband: Joel Lee Bunch on October 16, 1998; her sister: Marie "Ree" Peters Taylor, and by her four infant brothers.

Anna Mae is survived by her three loving children: Jimmy Ray Bunch and wife, Wendy of Barbourville; Terry Dwayne Bunch and wife, Pam of London; and Kayla Suzanne Bunch and friend, Derrick Robinson of Corbin.  Her three grandchildren: Morgan Rae Bunch, Tanner Lee Bunch and Tristen Joel Price.  Her brother: Donald Lee "Tommy" Peters and wife, Elizabeth of Somerset, Kentucky.  Her two sisters: Pauline Peters Hooker and Mildred Peters Bunch both of Barbourville; and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and dear friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services for Anna Mae Bunch will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2019 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Tanner Bunch, Derrick Robinson, Frankie Hooker, Tommy Hooker, Michael Peters, Danny Taylor, Joseph "Red" Bunch, Andy Bunch, Little David Bunch, Mickey Peters and Tristen Joel Price.

Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Friends and Neighbors.

The Bunch family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, and on Friday after 9:00 A.M. and until the funeral hour.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
