Annie Elizabeth Saunders age 77, of Heidrick, was born on May 19, 1937
in Barbourville, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Robert "Bob"
Lickliter and Anna Mae Helton Lickliter. Mrs. Saunders died Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation. She
was a member of the Swan Pond Baptist Church. On June 11, 1954, she
united in marriage to Albert Saunders. Along with her parents and husband, Albert, she was preceded in death by; a son; Robert Allen Saunders and two brothers; Curtis Ray Lickliter and Blan Lickliter.

Mrs. Saunders is survived by her daughters; Mary Sue Wesley and husband, Richard of Walton, Kentucky; Elizabeth Rene Saunders of Georgia; her son; Kenneth Ray Saunders and wife, Vickie Lynn of
Heidrick; several beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister; Betty Hale of Chatsworth, Georgia and brother; Mike Lickliter of Union, Kentucky.

Funeral Services for Annie Elizabeth Saunders will be conducted Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Denvil Taylor and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hampton-Lickliter Cemetery at Swan Pond with
family members serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Tuesday, 11:00 am until the funeral hour at
1:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
