Barbara Allen Warren, age 80, of Bimble, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Maurice and Ruth Snapp King, born to them on May 31, 1937 in Nicholas County, Kentucky.

Barbara retired from the A & P Grocery with over 25 years of service, she was also a self-employed Beautician, a member of Scalf Chapel Church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Paynes Creek.

In February of 1961, she united in marriage to David C. Warren, and to this union two daughters: Charlotte and Susan were born.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, David C. Warren, a brother Ron King, a sister Marlyn Wynia, a brother-in-law Stan Wynia, her grandson Cameron Scott Mullis, her great grandson James Scott Walters, and by a nephew Rodney King.

Barbara is survived by her loving family: her two daughters, Charlotte R. Taylor and husband, Dennis of Gray, and Susan E. Mullis and husband, Scott of Bimble.
Her five grandchildren: Hannah Mullis, Courtney Wahlstedt, Lindsey (Brad) Mullis, Jaden Taylor and Connor Mullis.
Her two sisters: Rita Runyan and husband, Mike of Santa Rosa, California, and Vicki Ring of Carlisle, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and her loving church family, and many other relatives and dear friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Barbara Allen Warren will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Scalf Chapel Church with Rev. Keith Lawrence (Buster) Liford and Rev. Sylvestor Dunn officiating.

The family of Barbara Allen Warren will receive friends after 11:00 A.M. on Sunday at the Scalf Chapel Church, and until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
