Betty Lou Davis Partin age 73 of
the Little Brush Creek Community,
Artemus, was born on May 29,1939 in Knox County. She was a daughter of the late John H. Davis and Pearl Gibson Davis. Betty died Thursday, March 7, 2013 in the Saint Joseph Hospital of London. She was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. On November 4, 1966, she united in marriage to Louis Partin. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Doyle Lee Davis and Jack Keith Davis.

Betty is survived by her dear husband, Louis, of the Little Brush Creek Community; her sisters; Sue Ann King and husband, Howard of Bailey Switch; Billie Messer and husband, Pete,
Loretta Broughton and Pauline Fee and husband, Roger all of Artemus; a sister-in-law; Janice Davis of Texas and many dear and beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Betty Lou Davis Partin will be conducted Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Michael Lawson and Rev. Steven Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lay Cemetery at Lay Branch, with Sam Buchanan, Glenn (Bud) Gambrel, Danny Mason, B.J. Messer, Berchel Messer, Billy Crawford and Rodney Messer serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chad and Billy Crawford, Craig Lawson, Clarence Lawson, Darren Lord, all members of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Stephen Sartori, and all Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Saint Joseph Hospital of London. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Saturday after 6:00 pm and Sunday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
