Bobbie J. Sowders Wells, age 75,  of Xenia, Ohio and formerly of Barbourville,  passed away to be with her Lord on Monday, March 17, 2014 in Dayton, Ohio.

She was a  daughter of the late Orvil and Cornellia "Nell" Rice Sowders, born to them on March 31, 1938 In Barbourville.

Bobbie was a loving wife and active member of the Miami Valley United Baptist Church.  She retired from Xenia Dailey Herald and worked for Top Value Interprise.

On May 18, 1957, she united in marriage to Eugene Wells.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers and sisters: Bill J. Sowders, Earl Delbert Sowders, Geneva Sowders Mills, Joyce Jean Sowders and Debra Ann Sowders Bays.

Bobbie is survived by her loving husband of over 56 years: Eugene Wells of Xenia, Ohio.
Her sister: Bernice Elliott of Artemus; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services in Ohio will be 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Miami Valley United Baptist Church in Fairborn with Elder Freddie Preston and Elder Denver Caudill officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Church with Adkins Funeral Home of Enon, Ohio.

In Barbourville  the family of Bobbie J. Wells will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with a Graveside Service to follow at the Stewart-Abner Cemetery at Artemus.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
