Cal Thomas "C.T". Mills age 85, of Scalf, was born there on May 26, 1933. He was a son of the late Ben Mills and Hallie Smith Mills. Cal died Saturday July 21, 2018 at the Baptist Health in Corbin. He was a member of the Salt Gum Baptist Church. Cal was a off set pressman for McCalls Magazine before retiring. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Cal united in marriage to Reba N. Blair and to the union three sons were born. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his former wife, Reba; son, Glaylan T. Mills; sisters, Diane Robinson and Beulah Smith and a brother, Donald Ray Mills.

Cal is survived by his sons; Glenn Mills and Fiance', Traci, of Scalf; Mark Mills and wife, Lisa Marie Mills of Columbus, Ohio; a granddaughter who was like a daughter to Cal, Angelia Christia Rawlings of London; his nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchilid; his sisters; Anna Sue Mills and husband, Randal of Dayton, Ohio; Norma Rawlins and husband, Bob of Troy, Ohio; Oralee Pukett of Turkey Creek; Bonnie Neely and husband, Jim of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; his brothers; Ben Mills Jr. and wife, Armrita of Mills Creek and Lonnie Mills of Scalf.

Funeral Services for Cal Thomas "C.T." Mills will be conducted at the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kennon Roark officiating. Burial will follow in the Long Tom Mills Cemetery at Scalf, with Kevin Mills, Mikey Byrd, Dustin Mills, Thomas Brock, Cody Mills, Roy Cal Bargo, Evan Jackson and Jacob Mills serving as pallbearers.  The Mills family will received friends at the Hopper Funeral Home , Wednesday, 6:00 to 9:00 pm and after 10:00 am Thursday until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
