Carson Trent, age 82, of Flat Lick, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was a son of the late France and Edna Evelyn Bargo Trent, born to them on August 19, 1930 at Hammond, Kentucky.
Carson was a retired Bore Sighter for General Dynamics of Warren, Michigan, having retired in 1986; and he believed in the Baptist faith.
On December 28, 1954, he united in marriage to Sudie Mae Mills.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers: Glan Trent, Rondell Trent, and Connie Trent; his sister-in-law: Charlene Trent; and by a great nephew: Adam Stevens.
Carson is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years: Sudie Mae Mills Trent of Flat Lick.
His brother: Landon Trent of Blue Ash, Ohio.
His two sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Trent of Gray; and Jean Trent of Blue Ash, Ohio; and many loving nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Carson Trent will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Don Smith, Rev. Harold Gene Smith, and Rev. Jerry Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Coles Branch Cemetery at Coles Branch.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Family and Friends.
Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all Friends and Neighbors.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
The Trent family will receive friends after 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Hopper Funeral Home, and after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday until the funeral hour.
