Charlotte Ann Butler age 59, of Trosper, was born on
September 28, 1957 in Pineville, Kentucky. She was a
daughter of the late Beverly A. Butler and Rosella
Marcum Butler. Charlotte passed away Wednesday,
January 4, 2017 in the Barbourville ARH. On
October 8, 1978, she became a member of the
Big Brush Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death
by; a brother, Randall Lee Butler, a sister, Ruby Wilson
and brother-in-law, Pete Wilson
Charlotte is survived by; her brothers; William "Tom"
Butler and wife, Magadlene of Trosper; Chester Butler
of Trosper; Jerry Butler of Barbourville; and
Charlie Butler and wife, Ida of Trosper; her sisters;
Zelda Jones and husband, Randall of Sanfork, West
Virginia; Mildred Hembree and husband, Dewey of North
Amherst, Ohio; Lois Hembree and husband, Bill of
Loraine, Ohio; and Sue Hamby and husband, Paul of
Clarksville, Indiana. She also leaves many other
dear and beloved family members and friends.
Funeral Services for Charlotte Ann Butler will be
conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel,
Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dale
Phipps and Bro. Albert Hembree officiating.
Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery at
Trosper, with George Wilson Sr., James Wilson,
Ernest Wilson, Perry Bays Sr. Michael Back,
Carlos Butler, Brian Bays and Perry Bays Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bill Hembree, Dewey
Hembree and Charlotte's church family at the
Big Brush Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral
Home, Saturday after 6:00pm and Sunday after
11:00 am until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm.
Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all
arrangements.
