Chester A. Walters, age 81, of Corbin, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at his Home.
He was a son of the late Jess and Eva Jane Frazier Walters, born to them on November 27, 1934 in Knox County, Kentucky.
He had worked at National Standard for several years; and was a member of the Chapel Grove Baptist Church at Woodbine.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Pearl Walters; a sister: Myrtle Lee Walters Perkins; a sister-in-law:
Lucille T. Walters; a brother-in-law: E. G. Smith; and by a special niece.
Chester is survived by his loving family: His brother: Jesse W. Walters of Corbin. His two sisters: June Faye Walters Smith of Barbourville; and Georgia Marie Walters Ulrich and husband, Paul of Hamilton, Ohio; and by his loving nieces and nephews, and other relatives and dear friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Chester A. Walters will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating.
Burial will follow in the Helton Cemetery on Indian Creek in Knox County.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
The Walters family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the Hopper Funeral Home, and on Saturday until the Funeral hour.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
