Cleveland Mills age 76, of Hinkle, was born on June 27, 1941 in Knox County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late George and Mary Wagers Mills. Cleveland died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Hinkle. He was a member of the Hughes Hill Pentecostal Church. Cleveland united in marriage to Lillian Shelton who preceded him in death. A brother, Estle Mills and a brother-in-law Billy Eversole also preceded him in death.

Cleveland is survived by his sons; Jerry Mills and wife, Barbara of Berea, Kentucky; Danny Mills of Richmond, Kentucky; Christopher Mills of Barbourville; Rick Fowler and wife, Paula of Lancaster, Kentucky; Harold Fowler of Berea, Kentucky; daughters; Devonda Durham and husband, Dale of Irvine, Kentucky and Margie Farmer and husband, Jimmy of Louisville, Kentucky; his twenty three grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren; his sisters; Della Mae and husband Arvil Messer of Hinkle; Jane and Sonny Daniels of Girdler and Gracie Eversole of Girdler; his brothers; Frank Mills and wife Lucy Mae of Girdler and Joe Mills and wife, Gilda of Michigan.

Funeral Services for Cleveland Mills will be conducted at the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Mickey Smith and Bro. Josh Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Callebs Creek Cemetery at Callebs Creek, with Sons and Grandsons serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Saturday after 5:00 pm and after 10:00 am Sunday until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
