Clyde Harold Burnett, age 82, of Gray, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Knox County Hospital.

He was a son of the late Lester Owens Burnett and Edith Mae Martin Burnett, born to them on December 6, 1932 in Knox County.

He was a retired Machinist for Michigan Rivet Company.

He united in marriage to Barbara Lois Martin, and to this union three children: Clyde Dwayne, Debra, and Michael were born.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death By his two brothers: Clinton Burnett and Virgil Burnett; and by his grandson: Michael Burnett, Jr.,and by his sister-in-law: Carolyn Burnett.

He is survived by his loving family: his wife: Barbara Lois Martin Burnett of Gray. His three children: Clyde Dwayne Burnett and wife, Carolyn; Debra Burnett Mills and husband, Robert; and Michael Burnett.

His grandchildren: Deborah McChesney and husband, Adam of Seymour, Tennessee; Robyn Thompson and husband, Troy of Lebanon, Kentucky; Jessica Watson and husband, Ricky of Somerville, New Jersey; Kaysey Lawson and husband, Chris of Barbourville; U. S. Marine Robert Mills, Jr. of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; Lauren Burnett of Macomb, Michigan; and the late Michael Burnett, Jr.

His seven great grandchildren; his brother: Don Burnett of Middlesboro, Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Clyde Harold Burnett will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeffrey Branum and Adam McChesney officiating.
Burial will follow in the Patterson Cemetery at Heidrick.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The Burnett family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Friday, and on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
