Craig Allen Monroe, age 49, of Girdler, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home. He is the son of Louise Barnes Bargo and John T. Monroe, born to them on April 23, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois.
Craig was a well known Fire Alarm Security Specialist, a Knox Central High School Graduate, a Union College Magna Cum Laude Graduate, and he enjoyed the Theater Group and the Archaeology Society.
Craig is survived by his loving family: His mother: Louise Bargo, his father: John T. Monroe, his son: John Riley Monroe, his daughter: Lauren Nicole Monroe, his three grandchildren: Mason, Harley and Echo, his three sisters: Debbie Lee, Crystal Lock, and Rachel Hall, and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives, and dear friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Craig Allen Monroe will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Barnard and Bro. Derrick Foster officiating.
Burial will follow in the Patterson Cemetery at Heidrick.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be Colson Messer, James Asher, David Mills, David Hall, Kelly Lock and Steve Wood.
The Monroe family will receive friends after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Hopper Funeral Home, and on Wednesday after 11:00 A.M. and until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
