Danny Dale Ramsey age 62, of Lexington, Kentucky, was born on
January 28, 1952 in Barbourville. He was a son of Naomi McWilliams
Ramsey and the late Lyde W. Ramsey. Danny died suddenly Thursday,
July 17, 2014 in the Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, West
Virginia. Danny worked for Nashville Dental. On August 24, 1973, he united in marriage to Teresa Stewart and to this union a beloved daughter was born. Along with his father, Danny was preceded in death by; his brother, Lyde William "Bill" Ramsey Jr. and his father-in-law; M.A. Stewart.

Danny is survived by his wife, Teresa Stewart Ramsey of Lexington,
Kentucky; his daughter, Dana Michelle Eden and husband, Chris of
Richmond, Kentucky; his beloved grandson, Jake Christopher Eden; his
mother, Naomi Ramsey of Barbourville; his sisters; Dinah Warren and
husband, Larry of Barbourville; Delia "Dee" Hale also of Barbourville; his mother-in-law; Vinnie Stewart of Artemus; nieces and nephews; Sabrina, Paul, Eric, Bill and Kevin; great nieces and
great nephews; Tasia, Eric William and Isom and a Great Great Niece,
Maddy; he also leaves many other dear realtives and friends.

There will be a celebration of life service for Danny, Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Mitchell officiating. Friends and Family are invited to say a few words or share a special story about their special friend, Danny during the funeral service. Pin a picture of Danny on the picture board that will be set up in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery, with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will also be; Family and Friends of Danny. Contributions may be made to the Artemus Christian Church or to the Knox County Animal Shelter in loving memory of Danny Dale Ramsey. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Monday after 5:00 pm and Tuesday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
