Deloris Ellen "Cookie" Bray age 64, of Kay Jay, was born on August 13, 1950, at Crane Nest. She was a daughter of the late James Henry Warren and Allie Robinson Warren. Cookie died Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Knox County Hospital. She was a member of the Kay Jay Community Church. On November 9, 1971, she united in marriage to Edward Bray Jr. and to this union two beloved daughters were born.
Along with her parents, Cookie was preceded in death by brothers,
David Warren and Charles Warren and two infant brothers.

Cookie is survived by her dear husband, Edward Bray Jr. of Kay Jay; her daughters; Sonya Sue Gray and husband, Daniel of Kay Jay; Melena Bray of Barbourville; her grandchildren; Justin Bray and wife, Jennifer, Orvil Marsee, Jordan Marsee, Meghan Lake, Simon Gray and Zachary Gray; her great grandchildren; Aiden Bray, Adilynn Bray and Axton Bray; her sister,Flossie Mincey, of Barbourville and her brothers; Dale Warren and wife, Mary of Ohio; Edward Warren and wife, Shirley of Barbourivlle; and Jimmy Warren and wife, Dorothy of Hwy. 229, Barbourville and many other dear relatives and dear friends.

Funeral Services for Deloris Ellen "Cookie" Bray will be conducted
at the Kay Jay Community Church on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Jimmy Warren officiating. Burial will follow at the
Bray Family Cemetery at Kay Jay with, Grandsons, Family Members and
Friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm., and on Thursday after 10:00 am. at the Kay Jay Community Church until the funeral hour. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
