Donald Lee "Pap" Cooke, 77, of Heidrick, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. Don was born in Barbourville, October 5, 1937 to the late, B.C. and Norma (Fuller) Cooke. He was a self employed contractor, and he stopped daily at Billy's One Stop for breakfast and coffee. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice in 1999, and his son, Anthony "Tony" Cooke in 2010.

Surviving are his loving children, Danny (Donna) Cooke of Emanuel Hollow, Denver Cooke of Springfield, Ohio. Teresa Phipps of Emmanuel Hollow, Donna Hampton of Lexington, KY, Beth Cooke of Heidrick, and a sister, Tommie (Don) Hyden of Barbourville, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren,and two nieces.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 24, at Hopper Funeral Home with Revs. Jeffrey Branum, and Tommy Frazier officiating, with burial in the Doolin Cemetery. Visitation will be, 5 to 9 pm Tuesday, and after 9 am Wednesday until the services.
