Obituary

Donna L. Cooper age 67, of Corbin and formerly of Barbourville, was born on July 30, 1945 in Lebanon, Indiana. She was a daughter of the late Lester Ledford and Valerie Lipps. Donna died Sunday,
December 2, 2012 in the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Donna was a retired LPN and was a former Headstart Teacher in Corbin. On November 26, 1986, she united in marriage to John B. "Johnny" Cooper. Along with her parents and husband, Johnny, she was preceded in death by; a daughter, Debbie Wells; a brother, Kenneth "Bo" Lipps; sister-in-law; Dea Lipps and brother-in-law; Mike Botkins.

Donna is survived by her loving children; Kathy Williamson of Barbourville; Erma Hampton of Gray; Tammy Hanna and husband, Ray of Lexington; Roger Cooper and wife, Becky of Georgetown, Kentucky; DeWayne Cooper of Lexington; her dear grandchildren, Jimmy Williamson, Michael Wells, Tony Williamson, Kristi Wells, Brooke Hampton, Britny Grant, Makenzie Grant, Kamri Cooper, Samantha Cooper, Rachel Cooper, Nathan Branstutter, William Branstutter, Aaron Branstutter, Tyrell Branstutter; her great grandchildren; Jaxton, Trinity,
Max and Courtney;
sisters; Marlene Kollman and husband, Tim of Kent, Washington; Treva Roguski and husband Jim of Urbana, Ohio; Tina Botkins of Central, South Carolina; brothers; Valery Eugene Lipps and wife, Joan of Enon, Ohio; Terry Ledford and wife, Sandi of Campton, Kentucky and many other dear relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Donna L. Cooper will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00 am, with Rev. James Bargo officiating. Burial will follow at the Campbell Cemetery at Indian Creek, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends will be recieved at the Hopper Funeral Home Wednesday after 6:00 pm and Thursday after 9:00 am until the funeral hour at 11:00 am. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
