Dora Doan Taylor age 65, of Boone Height, was born on August 12, 1951
in Knox County, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Andrew Doan and Judy Marie Miller Doan. Dora died, Wednesday, July 4, 2017 at the Baptist Health in Richmond, Kentucky. She was a member, Sunday School
Teacher and Custodian at Scalfs Chapel Church. Dora was a former Nurses Aid at Christian Health in Corbin and was a school cook at
Lynn Camp School at Gray. On December 21, 1969, she united in marriage to Beckham Taylor and to this union a beloved son was born.
Along with her parents, Dora was preceded in death by; a daughter, Linda Marie; a brother, Allen; half-brother, Lewis; her In-Laws,
Andrew and Linda Taylor; and brother-in-law, Harvey Taylor

Dora is survived by her husband, Beckham Taylor and son; Beckham Taylor Jr. of Boone Height; sister; Elizabeth Doan Taylor of Barbourville; her brother; Willie "Jack" Doan and wife, Teresa of Bimble; her nieces; Anitra Michell Jackson of Boone Height; Dawn Renee' Tackett of Michigan; Emily Beth Taylor Adams and husband, Brian of Chesapeake, Virginia; Kaitlyn Elizabeth Doan Sheilds and husband, Tyler of Hyden, Kentucky; nephews; Kevin Lee Taylor and wife, Melissa of Georgetown, Kentucky; Keith Gray and wife, Joanie of Louisville, Kentucky; Herbie Taylor and wife, Lauren of Michigan; and James Paul Taylor of Michigan.

Funeral Services for Dora Doan Taylor will be conducted at Scalfs Chapel Church, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Charles Lee and Rev. Brian Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with Kevin Taylor, Dillon Taylor, Austin Taylor, Herbie Taylor, Keith Gray and Allan Ledington serving as pallbearers.
Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am Saturday until the funeral hour at the
Church. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
