Eddie C. Farmer, age 68, of Trace Branch, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.  He was a son of the late W. O. Farmer, Sr. and Edith Carolyn (Brummett) Farmer, born to them on June 27, 1950 at Fount in Knox County.

He was a well known Knox County Heavy Equipment Operator, a well known Knox County Farmer and Cattleman, a well known Bee Keeper, and he enjoyed working on cars, and he loved his Ford Mustang, he was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith.

On June 14, 1969, he united in marriage to Judy Mills, and to this union a daughter: Michelle and a son: Mike were born.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: William Bill Farmer, Jr.,  a sister-in-law: Faye Farmer, a brother-in-law: Alfred Earl Burnette, and by four nephews: John Fitzgerald Farmer, Daniel Burnette, Kim Burnette and Douglas Farmer.

Eddie is survived by his loving family: His daughter: Michelle R. (Farmer) Felts and husband, Charlie of Corbin.  His son: Mike D. Farmer and wife, Angela of Corbin.  His special friend and former spouse: Judy of Corbin.  His grandchildren: Kayla Campbell and husband, Michael, Ashley Murray and husband, Miles, Kelsi Felts, Shane Farmer, Kaylie Farmer and Sarah Hensley.  His great grandchildren: Bentley, Colton, Cooper and Kambree Campbell, and Carter and Jack Murray.  His loving Sister: Juanita (Farmer) Burnette of Trace Branch. His two brothers: Walter Ray Farmer and wife, Carol of Bailey Switch, and Harold Douglas Farmer of Girdler. His sister-in-law: Alice Farmer of Corbin. His very special nephews and nieces: Tony Burnette and wife, Sandy, Missy Hammons and husband, Duane, Brenda Burnette, Rita Wood and husband, Steve, Melody Lambo and husband,  Dan, Jeff Farmer and wife, Jeanna, Adam Farmer and wife, Renata, and William Tye Farmer; and a host of great nephews and great nieces, and a very dear close friend: Tommy Mills,  and many other relatives, and very close friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Eddie C. Farmer will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2019 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Abner and Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery at Gray.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be Walter Ray Farmer, Harold Douglas Farmer, Tony Burnette, Jeff Farmer, Adam Farmer, Aaron Burnette, Logan Lambo, Junior Mills, Lucas Lambo and Tommy Mills.

Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: The great nephews and great nieces of Eddie, Dr. Monty Metcalfe, Dr. Paul Pedersen, The Barbourville ARH Staff, and Baptist Health Corbin Staff.

The Farmer family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Hopper Funeral Home, and on Friday after 11:00 A.M. and until the funeral hour.
