Paul Lundy, 74, of Pinetta, Florida, formerly of Knox County, died Monday, November 21, 2016 in the Malcomb Randall VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Lundy was a self-employed trucker. He had a strong faith and was a member of Airport Church of Christ in Valdosta, GA, and a jack of all trades, especially enjoying mechanic work.

He was born in Barbourville to the late Walter and Hazel Smith Lundy on November 30, 1941. He was a Viet Nam War Veteran.

Surviving is his wife, Cooky Ward Lundy of Pinetta, FL, his daughter, Selena Hilliard, of Waltersboro, SC, grandchildren, Brandy Hilliard Douglas and Clinton Hilliard both of Texas, and great-grandchildren, Zane and Dane Douglas of Texas, a brother, John Lundy of Barbourville, sisters, Joan Lundy of Ft. Pierce, FL, Vivian Deitz of Tazwell, TN, and Jan Bingham of Bimble, and many other nieces and nephews, and relatives.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, November 27,at Hopper Funeral Home, and burial will follow in the Hendricks Cemetery at Davis Bend. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 9 pm.
