Evelyn Buttery age 82, of Barbourville, was born on February 16, 1935 in Knox County, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Jim Yeager and Linda Rice Yeager. Evelyn died Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Baptist Health in Corbin. On October 2, 1950, she united in marriage to Cecil Lloyd Buttery Sr. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Buttery,
grandchildren; Terry Gene Buttery Jr., James Hubert Buttery, and Cecil Ray Mills; her sisters and brothers; Beulah, Herbert, Trula Faye, J.B., Frank, Marie, Glenn, Wilma Jean and Lafayette and her
Son-in-law, Jimmie Mills Sr.

Evelyn is survived by her sons; Larry Archie Buttery and wife, Carol, Terry Gene Buttery and her daughter; Dora Mills and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Sue Buttery all of Barbourville; her grandchildren; Sparky,
Calvin, Tina, Belinda, Ann, Sam, Little Bear, Jimmie, Kim, Pam, Timmy, Ron, Chris, Bridget and Marissa; she also leaves several dear great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Evelyn Buttery will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm with, her Grandson, Jimmie Wayne Mills and Grandson-in-law, Jason Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at the Mayhew Cemetery at Sharps Gap, with Grandsons and Great Grandsons serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Sunday 6:00 to 9:00 pm and after 10:00 am Monday until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
