Obituary

Glen C. Elliott age 76, of Barbourville, was born on October 10, 1937
at Brush Creek in Knox County. He was a son of the late Bob Elliott and Ona Mae Carter Elliott. Glen died Thursday, August 21, 2014 in the
Saint Joseph London. He was a former foreman the E.K. Wood in Barbourville. On September 1, 1979, he united in marriage to
Joyce Rice Burton. Along with his parents, Glen was preceded in death
by; two sisters, Opal Issacson and Maxine Ermanni;four brothers;
Ed Elliott, Bill Frank Elliott, Austin Elliott and Junior Elliott.

Glen is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Joyce
Elliott of Barbourville; his sons; Shannon Burton, Ronnie Burton and
wife, Oliva; Tim Burton and wife, Tammy; and Scotty Burton and dear girlfriend, Charmarie all of Barbourville; Kenny Elliott of Barbourville; Darrell Elliott of Cincinnati, Ohio; and David Elliott of Barbourville; his grandchildren; Anthony Burton, C.J. Burton, Andrew Burton, Brittany Burton, Kamille Burton, Zachary Burton, Scotty Burton Jr., Cierra Rice, Christian Rice, Courtney Rice, Gary Rice, Rachel Elliott, Catherine Elliott, Sabrina Elliott and David Elliott; sister; Betty Montgomery and husband, Kenneth of Ewing, Virgina; brothers; Raymond Elliott and wife, June of Artemus; Shirley Elliott and wife, Nikki of Barbourville; sister-in-law; Bernice Ellliott of Artemus and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Funeral Services for Glen C. Elliott will be conducted, Sunday,
August 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with
Rev. Charles Carnes and John Price officiating. Burial will follow
in the Brock Cemetery in Barbourivlle, with Paul Pennington, John
Elliott, Brian Elliott, Rodney Elliott, David Carnes, Arthur
Rodenwold, Donnie Price and Bryan Price serving as pallbearers.
Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Saturday
after 6:00 pm and Sunday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at
2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
