Obituary

Hannah Yeager age 95, of Barbourville, was born on August 20, 1918 in Knox County, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Eugene Mills and Sarah Katherine "Kate" Hale Mills. Mrs. Yeager died Friday, February 7, 2014 in the Christian Health Care in Corbin. She was a member of the Barbourville Church of God. On July 13, 1943, she united in marriage to John D. Yeager and to this union four children were born. Mrs. Yeager was a homemaker and she and her husband John owned and operated a grocery store in Barbourville for many years. Along with her parents and husband, John, she was preceded in death by a daughter Norma Lee Yeager, two sisters; Martha Jane Mills and Maude Mills and a brother, Grant Mills.

Mrs. Yeager is survived by her daughters; Brenda Taylor and husband, Don of Artemus; Theresa Harris and husband, Gary of Artemus; her son; Quentin Yeager and wife, Brenda of Middlesboro; her grandchildren; Douglas Keith Partin and wife, Stephanie; John Clinton Yeager and wife, Lisa; Doug Taylor, Jenny Taylor Logan and husband, William, Lori Partin Jones and husband, William Tal; great grandchildren; Johnna Rae Yeager, Dallas Yeager, Taylor Logan, Mason Logan, Lauren Partin, Blake Partin, William Hunter Jones and Jamison Hamilton; her brother; Robert Mills and wife, Mary of Wellsville, Ohio; Ray Mills who Mrs. Yeager raised as a son, and wife, Zollie of Knoxville, Tennessee, sister-in-law; Chelsie Callihan of Knoxville, Tennessee; many dear and beloved nieces and nephews; and special friend, Connie Bowman of Artemus.

Funeral Services for Hannah Yeager will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. Burial will follow in the Callihan Cemetery at Bimble, with Great Nephews, Lee Daniels, Gus Callihan, Zachary Callihan, Kenny Adams, Tyler Adams, Justin Adams, and Josh Adams serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James West. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Saturday after 6:00 pm and Sunday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
