Helen Shirlene Brown Howard, age 70, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Aiken Regional Hospital in Aiken, South Carolina.
Helen was born April 30, 1945 in Conaway, Virginia to the late Edward Kelly and Lucy (Fields) Brown. She worked as a line worker for Ford Motor Company. on August 31, 1968 she married Fount Howard Jr., who preceded her in death November 20, 1995. Also preceding her in death, brothers and sisters, Pauline and husband, Plenna Ramey, Woody Sloan, Truman Ramey, and Jessie Brown.

Surviving is a son, Steven Ray (Becky) Howard of Ypsilanti, MI, daughters Ginger (Rich) Seaton of Goose Creek, SC, Patricia (Rick) Ostrowski, of Belleville, MI ,grandchildren, Austin and Seth Howard, Scott and April Ostrowski , sisters, Dora Sloan of Elk Horn City, KY, Della (Howard) Thompson of Chicago, IL, Nola Mae Ramey of Mouth Card, KY, a sister-in-law, Shirley Brown of Lick Creek, KY, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Hopper Funeral Home with Rev. Mann Cobb and Rev. Wayne Gibson officiating, with burial following in Blevins Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 9 PM Thursday and after 9 am Friday.
