Helen M. Hyatt Fee age 87, of Artemus, died at her home on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
She was a daughter of the late George W. and Alice Orick Hyatt, born to them on September 13, 1925 in Bell County, Kentucky.
Mrs. Fee was a Christian and a member of the Yancey Baptist Church in Harlan County, Kentucky; and a well known Knox County Homemaker.
On June 1, 1946, she united in marriage to Stanley Fee, Jr., and to this union four children: Roger, Bill, Ricky and Tricia Ann were born.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Fee, Jr., and by her three brothers: John Edward (Buster) Hyatt, Vernon Hyatt, and Benab Hyatt a United States Marine in the Korean War who was a M.I.A. in 1953; her granddaughter: Rachel Beth Davis; and a great grandson: Cody Issacs.
Mrs. Fee is survived by her loving family: her three sons: Roger Fee and wife, Pauline (Polly) of Artemus; Bill Fee of Las Vegas, Nevada; Ricky Fee and wife, Ann of Kettering, Ohio; and her daughter: Tricia Ann Fee of Barbourville.
A very special granddaughter: Misty Smith of Artemus.
Her sister: Opal Martin of Artemus.
Her three brothers: J. D. Hyatt of Rose Hill, Virginia; Charles Hyatt and Ray Hyatt both of Barbourville.
Her grandchildren: Jennifer Kay Fee Miller, Kristy Lynn Parks, Rebecca Fee, Jessie William Davis, Melanie Fee Justice and Misty Smith.
Her great grandchildren: Dustin Issacs, Dillion Issacs, Lauren Gardiner, Michaela Rae Woodall, Michaela Shan Miller, Matthew Miller, Travis Smith, Justin Davis, Ethan Basket, Hannah Basket, Jaelyn Sanford, Zoe Parks and Jasper Justice; and a host of nieces and nephews, and other realtives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Helen M. Hyatt Fee will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Phipps and Rev. Rick Partin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Loyall, Kentucky.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Danny Howard, Ray Hyatt, Jr., Mark Noe, Mike Noe, Michael Miller and Jessie William Davis.
Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all family and friends.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
The Fee family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Friday, and on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
