Herman Christopher (Moe) Broughton age 41, of Artemus, was born on July 30, 1972 in Bell County, Kentucky. He was a son of Loretta Davis Broughton and Herman Broughton. Chris died Thursday, December 26, 2013 in the Knox County Hospital. He was a member of the Artemus Baptist Church. Chris was preceded in death by; his Maternal Grandparents; John and Pearl Davis and his Paternal Grandmother Hazel Broughton.

Chris is survived by his Mother, Loretta Davis Broughton of Artemus; his Father, Herman Broughton and wife, Pamela Ann of Barbourville; his Sister; Felicia Ann West of Artemus; his Grandfather; Charlie Broughton of Ramsey Branch; his Niece, Zoey Faith and Nephew, Luka Christopher; and many beloved cousins and dear friends.

Funeral Services for Herman Christopher (Moe) Broughton will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Steve Honeycutt and Bro. Sam Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Davis Bend with David Mills, Brian Nelson, Roy Michael Stamper, Tommy Marsee, Shane McNevin, James Donaldson and Billy Meeks serving as pallbearers.
Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Sunday after 11:00 am until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
