Imogene May age 59, of Girdler, was born on January 4, 1955 in
Manchester, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Earl Grubb
and Tennie Jackson Grubb. Imogene died Monday, August 18, 2014 in
the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Imogene
was a former housekeeping supervisor at the Reid Memorial Hospital
in Richmond, Indiana. On October 12, 1974, she united in marriage to Willie May.

Imogene is survived by her husband, Willie of Girdler; her sons;
Stacey May of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; Rodney May and wife, Tara of Fountain City, Indiana; Dean May and wife, Tina of Webster, Indiana;
Jerry May of Barbourville; Ben May of Girdler; Andrew May of Girdler,
Brian May of Girdler; Donnie Hubbard of Japan; Daughters; Joann Smith and husband Tom of Corbin, Kentucky; Michelle Corum and husband Baxter of Manchester, Kentucky and Tammy May of Richmond, Indiana; Brother; Ray Dean Grubb and wife, Betty of Girdler; seventeen grandchildren; several beloved great grandchildren;

Funeral Services for Imogene May will be conducted Friday, August
22, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. D.Y. May officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, Kentucky with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received
at the Hopper Funeral Home Friday, after 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all
arrangements.
