James Edward Smith, Age 66, of Gatewood Drive, Corbin, passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was the husband of Sharon Martin Smith of Corbin, the father of Nicole Lake of Corbin and James Smith of Lily, the brother of Jerry Smith of Michigan and Jack Smith of Barbourville.

Funeral Services for James Edward Smith will be conducted at 3:00pm Friday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Shane Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Yeager-Powell Cemetery at Bimble.

The family of James Edward Smith will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 1:00pm Friday.

Military honors will be conducted by the local DAV.
