James Daniel Walker age 57, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky was born on December 17, 1955 in Barbourville, Kentucky. He was a son of the late Dorothy Annette Walker. James died Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He worked for the Bemis Company in Shelbyville.

James is survived by his mother, Conchita Clark of Barbourville; his sisters; Elizabeth Ann Walker of Louisville, Kentucky; Sheri Walker of Palm Bay, Florida; Devonda Joann Rowan of Louisville, Kentucky; his brothers; Lewis A. Walker of Barbourville; John R. Walker and wife, Jennifer of Lexington, Kentucky; Jeffery Lee Clark and companion, Tabitha Henderson of Barbourville and Randy Garrett Clark and wife, Stephanie of Barbourville. He also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for James Daniel Walker will be conducted at the First Baptist Church on Church Street, in Barbourville, Monday, September 16, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Charles Tinsley and Rev. Randy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Tanyard Cemetery at Smokey, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Sunday after 6:00 pm and Monday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at the Church. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
