Janet "Nana" Miller age 87 of Barbourville passed away Sunday at Continue Care hospital in Corbin. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Mary Alice Mills Bowling born to them on October 19, 1930 in Clay County, KY. She was united in marriage to John Shelby "Poppy" Miller who preceded her in death. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse  a master seamstress, a devoted grandmother and of the Baptist Faith.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son: Larry Miller, a brother: J.W. Bowling and sisters: Wanda Rhodes, Francis Williamson, Maude Peace and Wilma Rains.

She is survived by a daughter: Marlene Miller Hatfield of Barbourville, her Grandchildren: Thomas Hatfield and wife Liz, Matthew Miller and Melissa, Erin Wallace, Aaron Lloyd McCartt, Donna Nottingham and Husband Cody and Pam Hatfield, her 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

A family celebration of life will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 11, 2018 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be at a later date in the Miller Cemetery at Davis Bend with grandsons, George West and Adam Partin serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Hopper Funeral Home after 1:00 P.M. Wednesday.
