Jered Nathaniel Wilson age 17, of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away Wednesday January 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born on March 29, 2000 in Montgomery, Ohio to Joe and Melissa Wilson.

He was a student at Pleasant Valley High School. Jered believed in his lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Jered was an avid reader having read over three thousand books, loved politics, history, drawing, painting and pottery.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Grady Joseph and Carol Wilson and Claude Myers.

He is survived by his loving parents Joe and Melissa Wilson of Bettendorf, Iowa, his brother: Justin Wilson and wife Debra of Bettendorf, Iowa, his sister Amarissa Wilson of Bettendorf, Iowa and his grandmother: Irene Robertson of Corbin. He is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Blake officiating.. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Golden's Creek with friends and family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Hopper Funeral Home after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday and until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
