John "Johnny" Broughton, age 78, of Deer Park, Ohio, and formerly of Barbourville, died Monday, December 15, 2014 in Blue Ash, Ohio.

Loving husband, companion and friend of Anna (Jordan) Broughton for 52 years.

John was the son of the late Frank and Lula (Smith) Broughton, born to them on August 3, 1936 in Barbourville, Kentucky.

Devoted and proud father of Ron Broughton and dear father-in-law of Angie (Behrens) Broughton. He leaves behind one grandson Chance Broughton whom he adored and loved so very much. He also leaves behind two brothers; Chris Broughton, West Chester, OH and Eli Broughton, Amelia, OH; three sisters Lela Ballard, Cincinnati, Versia Hinkle, Flat Lick, KY and Alice Mills, London, KY. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He also leaves behind a caring, loving niece who helped so much during his illness, Julie Rollins.

He was a member of Living Word Missionary Baptist Church. He also leaves behind a host of friends, relatives and neighbors.

Visitation Friday Dec. 19, from 5:00-8:00PM and Funeral Service Saturday at 10:00 AM both at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home 10211 Plainfield Rd., Evendale, Ohio.
