John Mark Collins, age 37, of Flat Lick, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Pineville Community Hospital in Pineville.
He was born on October 16, 1977 in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

He was a loving son, and a loving father; a 1996 Graduate of Knox Central High School; he loved playing and watching the game of Baseball; and his favorite athlete was Michael Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Earl and Dorothy Lester Gambrel.

He survived by his loving mother: Barbara Gambrel Collins of Flat Lick.
His loving son: Mark Damon Collins of Barbourville, and his loving daughter: Tiara Spencer of Barbourville.
His father: Johnny Collins of Pineville.
His special friend: Jamie Brock of Perryville, Kentucky.
His grandmother: Marjorie Collins of Paducah, Kentucky.
His uncle: Donnie Gambrel and wife, Jeanie of San Antonio, Texas.
His aunt: Helen Garcia and husband, Ted of College Station, Texas; His cousins Ted E. Garcia, Carlos Garcia, and Lola Garcia and many other relatives, and dear friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for John Mark Collins will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Sowders officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Jamie Brock, Tyler Priest, Lee McDonald, Corey Gambrel, Bryan King and Asberry Brown.
Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers: will be Jerry "Rabbit" Cox, Arthur Baker, Harold Bargo, William Lester, and Lenny Baker.

The Collins family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home on Tuesday after 12:00 noon, and until the hour of service.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
