Mr. Johnny Manis, age 57, of Harriman passed away Saturday, May 31 2014, due to a car accident.

Preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John Ellis and Dorcas Francis Manis. His half sisters, Peggy Brock of Rockwood and Lou Ella and husband Bruce Ellison of Harriman.

He was survived by his wife, Trula Michelle Bray. One daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Manis Bishop and fiance, Anthony Omo. Step-children, timothy Burnette and sister Ashley and husband Michael Roberts. Grandchild, Gabrielle Rose Bishop. Three step-grandchildren. His sister, Katherine Manis and husband Ronnie Davis of Kentucky. Brothers, Jackie Manis of Oklahoma, Don Manis of Harriman, Tennessee, Tommy and wife Misty Manis of Harriman, Tennessee and Donald Edward (Babe) and wife Angie Manis of Wartburg, Tennessee. Half sister, Ola Faye Hester of Oakdale, Tennessee. His brother in law, Rolland Brock of Rockwood, Tennessee. His sister in laws, Donna and husband Andy Capps of Harriman, Frankie A. and husband Lloyd Allen Paxton of Lancing, Tennessee. Mother in law, Dorothy Snow. Family dog Gidget. A host of nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones to mourn his passing.

The family received friends Friday, June, 6 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services followed at 7:00 with Rev. Ronnie Turpin and Rev. Clyde Jones officiating. Interment was Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Manis Family Cemetery.
