Juanita Gray, 80 of Boone Height, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Barbourville ARH. Juanita was the daughter of the late Oscar and Mattie Girtman Roark, born to them June 2, 1936 in Bell County. She united in marriage to Thomas Ballard Gray, August 24, 1951.

Thomas preceded her in death in 2009. Juanita was a homemaker, and a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. A brother, Harold Roark, and sisters, Beulah Roark, Nadine Stewart, Arlene Stewart, Brenda Smith, Donna Wagner, and grandmother, Fannie Johnson also preceded her in death.

Surviving her are sons, David Lee Gray and wife Peggy of Goldens Creek, Dennis Lee Gray and wife Louise of Walker Park, a daughter, Della and husband Rev. Jimmy Lee of Boone Height, sisters, Carrie Lowe and Launa Charlton of Boone Height, Elsie Mae King of Indiana, grandchildren, Chris Gray and fiancée Sharon Taylor, Dennis Lee Gray, Travis Gray and wife Rhonda, Rhonda Stanton and husband Terry, and three great grandchildren, Makayla Messer, Hanna Messer, and Ali Stanton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Hopper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6 to 9 pm, and after 9 am Wednesday.
