Kenny Woosley, age 65, of Richmond, Kentucky, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was a son of the late Wesley and Golden Alexander Woosley, born to them on June 1, 1949 in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was a retired Maintenance Worker at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington; a member of the Durbin Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington.
Kenny was a Proud Veteran, he served his country as a Specialist 4th Class in the U.S. Army Infantry during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1970.
On October 14, 1977, he united in marriage to Perrietta Lockard Woosley, and on September 23, 2014 she preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents: Wesley and Golden Alexander Woosley; and by two sets of twin brothers and sisters: Bonnie Gail and Donnie Dale; and Judy Ann and Jerry Rand.
Kenny is survived by his loving God Children: Beth Mills and Dusty Allen; and by his God Grandchildren: Sidney Jade Mills and Jake Mills; and many other friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Kenny Woosley will 2:00 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating.
Burial will follow in the Goodin Cemetery at Bimble on Goodin's
Branch.
The Woosley Family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 12:00 noon on Saturday, and until the funeral hour.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
