Lisa Michelle Abner age 46, of Barbourville, was born there on July 11, 1966. She was a daughter of Wilma Abner Beardsley. Lisa died, Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Heritage in Corbin. She was a former teachers aid at Dewitt Elementary School before becomming disabled.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Mills and husband, Jeremy of Scalf; Cynthia Messer and boy friend, Todd Richmond of Barbourville; her son; Brian Abner and wife, Kathleen Victoria of Barbourville; her mother, Wilma Abner Beardsley of Barbourville; her sister; Teresa Ledford of Heidrick; and her six grandchildren; Lexi, Brayden, Christopher, Landon, Kaylee, Kaitlyn and one grandchild on the way; and her very special Aunt: Irene Gray of Barbourville.

Funeral Services for Lisa Abner will be conducted Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Billy Stewart and Rev. Kennon Roark officiating. Burial will follow in the Carnes Cemetery at Turkey Creek, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Friday after 6:00 pm and Saturday after 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charage of all arrangements.
