Loretta Wombles Jackson age 82, of Turkey Creek, was born on April
26, 1933 at Bimble, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Charlie
Wombles and Hallie Mae Valentine Wombles. Loretta died, Friday
July 3, 2015 in the Knox County Hospital. She was a former
Head Start Teacher in Clark County, Indiana. Loretta was the former
wife of Arnold Jackson.

Loretta is survived by her daughters; Joyce Jackson and Debbie
Jackson both of Clark County, Indiana; Lisa Jackson and companion,
Joe Henson of Louisville, Kentucky; her sons; Danny Jackson of Pineville, Kentucky; David Jackson of Turkey Creek; and Gary Jackson and wife, Tina of Clark County, Indiana; her sister; Lorraine
Napier and husband, Danny of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers;
Gordon Wombles and wife, Mildred of Raleigh, North Carolina;
Cliff Wombles and wife, Doris of Saint Clair, Michigan; and Lonnie
Wombles and wife, Dolly of Wyandotte, Michigan; eight grandchildren;
twelve great grandchildren and dear cousin, Peggy Jones and husband,
Olaf of Barbourville.

Funeral Services for Loretta Wombles Jackson will be conducted in
the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Charles Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Carnes Cemetery at Turkey Creek, with family members and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Tuesday after 11:00 am until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge
of all arangements.
