Loxley Collins, 81 of Norwalk, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Twilight Gardens Home. He was born in Knox County, January 2, 1934 to the late, Wayne and Dora P. (Lawson) Collins. He went to Ohio when he was 17 years old.
Loxley was a member of Trinity Temple, and was a former employee of Casper Foundry in Lorain, Ohio. He enjoyed traveling, playing the guitar, and singing in his church.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Collins, and sons, Loxley Collins Jr. of Lorain, OH, and Tommy Young, daughters, Sandra Hughes of Middlesboro, Judy Cochran of Elyria, Oh, Brenda (Lee) Murphy of Corbin, and Drema Perez of Norwalk, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sisters, Beloise Peterson of Barbourville, Havanna Butler of Trosper, Vera Moore of Wellington, OH, and his brothers, Herman (Blanche) Collins of Trosper, and James Wayne (Betty) Collins of Hendersonville, TN.
Loxley was preceded in death by a brother, Langley Collins, and sisters, Ruby Hampton, Mabel Golden, Garnett Brown, Ruth Marcum, and Jewel Lee.
Memorial services were held at 2 pm Saturday, May 9, at Trinity Temple, Milan, OH, and a memorial will be held at the cemetery, Saturday, May 16 at 1pm at Collins Hollow, in Knox County.
