Lucille Pemberton, age 89, of Corbin passed away Thursday November 16, 2017 at Christian Health Care in Corbin. She was born on January 9, 1928 in Whitley County KY to the late Ed and Mary O. Warfield Powers.

She was retired from G & H Steel in Toledo, OH. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Corbin and later on attended New Hope Church.

Survivors include one son: Jack Pemberton and wife Leslie of Hilton Head, S.C. one daughter: Jewell Martin of Swanton, OH, one brother: H.K. Powers and wife LeFern of Richmond, three sisters: Gladys Manes of Corbin, Aileen Spencley of Toledo, OH and Ruth McCullough and husband Don of Richmond, two grandchildren: Ashley and Kristi and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Lucille Pemberton will be 1:00 P.M. Monday November 20, 2017 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thurman Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery in Corbin with Nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday November 20, 2017 after 11:00 A.M. at Hopper Funeral Home and until the hour of service.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
