Margaret Leona "Skip" Hubbs age 83, of the Walker Park Community, Barbourville, was born on February 2, 1932 in Barbourville. She was a daughter of the late Marshall Hubbs and Annie Hubbs. Skip died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Barbourville. She was a member of the River Baptist Church, Swan Lake Road, Barbourville. Along with her parents, Skip was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Hubbs Campbell and her brother, James Robert Hubbs.

Skip leaves to mourn her passing; her sister-in-law; Helen Hubbs of Corbin; nephew, Larry Wayne Hubbs and wife, Sandra of Gray; great nephews; Terry Wayne Hubbs and wife, Kathy of Corbin and Gary Alan Hubbs and wife, Marsha of Barbourville; great great nieces, Lily Kathern Hubbs and Margaret Francis Hubbs; great great nephew; Jasper Isaac Hubbs; a special friend, Shirley Wilson and many dear cousins and friends.

Funeral Services for Margaret Leona "Skip" Hubbs will be conducted at the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dewayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with nephews and dear friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Sunday after 12:30 pm until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
