Marie Powell Donnelly age 68, of Corbin and formerly of Knox County and Lincoln Park, Michigan, was born on October 3, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a daughter of the late Jeff Powell and Hattie Smith Powell. Marie died, Saturday, November 3, 2012 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. On August 25, 1993 she united in marriage to Victor James Donnelly. Along with her parents, Jeff and Hattie, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, sister, Anna Sue Smith and brothers-in-law; Arville Smith, Grover Smith, Bill Rose, Steve Jones and Jake Foley.

Marie is survived by Sons, James Rose (Karen), Kevin Rose and Rodney Rose (Cara) all of Michigan; Daughter, Eva Valerie Juchartz (Rick), of Corbin; she was the dear grandmother of Tina (Chris), Chasidy (Tim), Joshua, Sahvanna, Candace, Megan, Victoria (Tori), Courtney, Daniel (DJ), Mia, Blayden, Gavin, Samantha and Declan; great grandmother of Hailey, Timothy, Casey, Aubrey and Ryan; sister of Troy Smith of Barbourville; Bertha Rose of Jarvis; Ima Jean Foley of Barbourville; special sister, Deloris (Lois) Jones of Gray; Morgan Powell of Barbourville; Clifton Powell and wife, Barbara of London; special aunt to Mary, Debbie and Joe.

Funeral Services for Marie Powell Donnelly, will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor, Cecil Powell and Pastor, Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Carnes Cemetery at Turkey Creek at Baughman, Kentucky with, Rodney Rose, Rick Juchartz, DJ Powell, Tim Korzeniewski, Joe Smith, and Joshua Brewer serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Thursday after 6:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Friday until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
