Mary Evelyn Miles Perkins, age 70, of Swan Pond Road, Barbourville, died Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the Saint Joseph Hospital in London.
She was a daughter of the late Andrew Jonah and Eva Sears Miles, born to them on August 29, 1942 at Swan Pond.

Mary was a Homemaker, and was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mary is preceded in death by her daughter: Linda Chesnut; her parents: Andrew Jonah and Eva Sears Miles; her three brothers: Stanley, Paul and Coleman; and by her sister: Violet.

Mary is survived by her son: Randall Perkins of Swan Pond Road, Barbourville. Daughter Pam Moore and husband, Ken of Knoxville, Tennessee. Son Bill Perkins of Swan Pond Road, Barbourville. Daughter Jill Martin and husband, Doug of Taylorsville, Kentucky. Cindy Miles and Matt Stines of Corbin, Kentucky. Eva Oliver and Bobby of Lexington, Kentucky. Her two brothers, Kinver Miles of Swan Pond Road, Barbourville, and Randall Miles and wife, Bobbie of Corbin, Kentucky. Her son-in-law: Buddy Chesnut of Corbin, Kentucky; Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and dear friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services for Mary Evelyn Miles Perkins will be conducted on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Martin, Jesse Martin and Joe Shields officiating.
Burial will follow in the Miles Cemetery at Swan Pond.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be the Grandsons and Son-in-laws of Mrs. Perkins.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

The Perkins family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Monday, and after 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday until the funeral hour.
