Michael T. Moore age 56, of Barbourville, was born on July 7, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a son of the late Willie Moore and Doris Callihan Moore. Michael died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the Knox County Hospital. He was a Auto Mechanic. On September 25, 1976, he united in marriage to Brenda Rice and to this union three children were born. On February 12, 1990, he united in marriage to Hazel Hamilton. Along with his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Moore.

Michael is survived by his wife, Hazel Moore of Barbourville; his son; Michael "Pete" Moore and wife, Marquetta of Bardstown, Kentucky; daughters; Angie Farmer and husband, Steven of Himyar; Misty Moore of Barbourville; Angie Williams and husband, Jason of Barbourville and Kim Owens of Maryville, Tennessee who was like a daughter to Michael; his grandchildren; Mic, Dustin, Micah, Max, Justin, Jeremy, Kailey, Tori, Tabatha and Tiffany; his sister; Leona Taylor and husband, Mike of Barbourville; his brothers; Ray Moore and wife, Ann of Oakridge, Tennessee; Kenneth Moore of Barbourville and Jerry Callihan of Georgia.

Funeral Services for Michael T. Moore will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Sowders officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with
his son; Michael "Pete" Moore, his nephews,grandsons and special friend, Danny Mills serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Thursday after 6:00 p.m. and Friday after 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
