Noah Broughton age 50 of Hinkle, Kentucky, was born on October 9, 1967 in Knox County, Kentucky. He was a son of Shirley Smallwood Broughton and the late Donald Broughton. Noah died at his home, Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church and worked and laid concrete before becoming disabled. On August 23, 2008 he united in marriage to Jennifer Smith. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Homer Swafford.

Noah is survived by his wife, Jennifer of Hinkle; his children, Noah Broughton Jr., Gunner Broughton and Martin Shepherd all of Hinkle; Mason Broughton and Madison Broughton both of Laurel County, Kentucky; his Mother, Shirley Broughton of Cannon; Sister, Patsy Swafford of Gray, Kentucky; Brother, Donald Broughton Jr. and wife, Kathleen of Knox County, Kentucky and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

There will be a graveside service conducted in the Broughton-Smallwood Cemetery on Long Branch at Cannon, Kentucky Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 am, with Rev. David Barnard officiating. Pallbearers will be friends and neighbors of the Broughton Family. Friends will be received at the Broughton-Smallwood Cemetery on Long Branch at Cannon, after 10:30 am until the service at 11:00 am. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
