Norma Partin Hendricks age 80, of Somerset, Kentucky and formerly of Knox County, was born at Artemus, Kentucky on January 28, 1936. She was a daughter of the late John Wesley Partin and Cora Lay Partin. Norma died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at the home of her daughter, Darlene Haponik in Somerset. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at Calverts City, Kentucky. On May 30, 1954, she united in marriage to Billie Hendricks. Along with her parents and husband, Billie, she was preceded in death by; her sisters; Jane, Maude, Doris, Florence, Viola and Gertrude and her brothers; John, Lewis and Frank.

Norma is survived by her children; Monica Hess and husband, Dan of Lexington, Kentucky; Darlene Haponik and husband, John of Somerset, Kentucky and William D. Hendricks and wife, Nina of Symsonia, Kentucky; her grandchildren; Melissa Weston, Megan Russell, Stacy Haponik, Michael Haponik, Rachel Cavitt and Sarah Hendricks; her great grandchildren; Holly Forester and Sophia Weston.

Funeral Services for Norma Partin Hendricks will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Tom Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lay Cemetery at Little Brush Creek with family members and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home, Sunday after 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at 3:00 pm.
