Phyllis P. Parrott ge 78, of Lexington and formerly of Barbourville was born there on April 8, 1939. She was a daughter of the late Homer Parrott and Loretta Lewis Parrott. Phyllis died Monday, August 14, 2017 in the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Phyllis was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Harlan, Kentucky. She was a caregiver at the Mayfair Manor in Lexington. Along with her parents, Phyllis was prececed in death by, her son, Michael Parrott; brothers, Sam, James and Joe Parrott and a nephew, Samuel Venable.

Phyllis is survived by her son, John Holt of Lexington; sisters; Janis Parker and husband, Bruce of Lexington; Deborah Lynn and husband, Robert of Dallas, Texas; loving aunt, Sammie Gregory of Georgetown, Kentucky; and many dear and loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services for Phyllis P. Parrott will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 4:00 pm, with Rev. Rick Partin officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery, with family members and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Wednesday after 2:30 pm until the funeral hour at 4:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
