Randall Branstutter, age 80, of Barbourville, died Monday, February 25, 2013 in the Knox County Hospital.
He was a son of the late William Reed and Frances Tilda Potter Branstutter, born to them on June 16, 1932 in Barbourville.
Randall operated and ran the Barbourville Gulf Gasoline and Service Station for many years before retiring; a member of the Advent Christian Church; and was a veteran serving his Country in the United Sates Army.
In 1957, he united in marriage to Juanita Allen, and to this union a daughter: Brenda and a son: David were born.
Along with his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his loving wife: Juanita Allen Branstutter on February 23, 2004; and by his four brothers: Ernest Lickliter, Douglas Branstutter, Willie Dean Branstutter, and William Alfred "Al" Branstutter.
Randall is survived by his loving family: His daughter: Brenda Eagle and husband, Larry of Gray.
His son: David Branstutter and wife, Brenda of Barbourville.
His six grandchildren: Candace Branstutter Smith and husband, Bradley, Kristen Branstutter, Caitlyn Branstutter, Haedyn Branstutter, Adam Eagle, and Justin Eagle and wife, Heather.
His very special great granddaughter: Madison Eagle.
His three brothers: Arnold Branstutter and wife, Judy of Toledo, Ohio; Jack Branstutter of Indiana; and Roy Branstutter and wife, Mamie of Barbourville.
His two sisters-in-law: Wilma Jean Branstutter and Edna Branstutter both of Barbourville; and by several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and dear friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Randall Branstutter will be conducted on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garrett Garland and Rev. Dewayne Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery with Military Honors by the Honor Guard of the D.A.V. Chapter 158 of Keavy, Kentucky.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Michael Branstutter, Roy Jeffrey Branstutter, Bill Branstutter, Bradley Smith, Nathan Grambrel and Steven Mays.
Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. Vora and his Staff, the Knox County Home Health, and the Knox County Hospital.
Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
The Branstutter family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, and on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M.
