Randell Gray, 64, of Lynchburg, Virginia and formerly of Barbourville, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Marilyn Gray and the father to Marie Bolton and April Gray.

Born on March 15, 1950 in Barbourville, KY, he was the son of the late Walter and Gracie Broughton Gray.

Randell enjoyed gardening and grilling. His famous hot wings will be greatly missed by his family.

In addition to his wife and two daughters, he is survived by a son-in-law, Andrew Bolton; his grandson, Graden Bolton; his sister, Arlene Bingham and husband Dobin of Barbourville, KY; his two brothers, Rex Gray and wife Pat of Washington, Michigan and Herman Gray and wife Thelma of Grays, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with family friend Victor Cortez officiating. The family will receive friends following the service till 8 pm.

Burial with a Graveside Service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Obie Mills Cemetery at Bells Fork on Mills Creek in Knox County.
