Obituary

Reagan Faith Warren, 18, of Heidrick, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016
at the University of Kentucky Children's Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She is the
daughter of Steve and Jennifer Warren, born in Corbin, Ky. on June 11, 1998.
Reagan's battle  began at age 15, and she was home schooled her
Sophomore year. She returned to Knox Central her junior year, where she went
on to graduate top twenty five in her class, and third out of two hundred and
twenty of the KCHS Class of 2016. During her tenure as a student in the Knox
County Public School system she earned both the Rogers Explorer and the
Rogers Scholar. Additionally she was awarded a full scholarship to the University
of Kentucky, the prestigious William C. Parker Diversity Scholarship, where she
planned to study speech language pathology. She was the recipient of numerous
academic achievements and awards, as well as a member of multiple clubs and
organizations. She was a Knox Central cheerleader, a member of the KCHS
tennis team, and was a devout fan of Knox Central sports, especially basketball.
She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
She was the founder of Reagan's Toy Drive for the past three years, raising
donations at Christmas for less fortunate children all across Knox County.
Reagan also thoroughly loved, enjoyed and cherished the time spent with her
family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Steve and Jennifer (Jackson) Warren, her sister,
Morgan Grace Warren, of Heidrick, grandparents, Denver Lee and Sue Jackson
of Heidrick, Donnie and Daisy Warren of Bimble, great-grandparents, Marie G.
Mills of Heidrick, and Homer Lee and Virginia Jackson of Barbourville, her aunts
and uncles, Curt and Gina Rose of Heidrick, Dan and Robin Gillespie of
Louisville, Keith and Casey Couch of Okinawa, Japan, and cousins, Matt and
Lauren Ramsey, Vance Rose, Allie Gillespie, Claire Gillespie and Maggie Couch,
and her boyfriend of three years, Kendall Frost of Barbourville.
On Monday morning, Reagan Faith fell asleep here on Earth and awoke to the
glory of Heaven. She was the epitome of elegance, beauty, grace, intelligence
and kindness. The legacy she leaves behind is the lasting impact she had on
everyone who knew her. Her kindred spirit, bravery and FAITHfulness, even in
the face of adversity, inspired many and reminded us all of the preciousness of
life. Her stature may have been petite and her demeanor gentle, but she had the
heart of a lamb and the courage of a lion. She taught us that the quality of our
existence far exceeds the quantity of the time we live and though we grieve in
her absence, we were all blessed to have known and been a part of who she
was. Souls were saved, lives were touched, and in the end she was the victor, for
she conquered her battle and finally made it home, safe in the arms of our
Savior.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2016 at Locust Grove
Baptist Church in Girdler, Ky., with Rev. David Barnard, Rev. Ralph Halcomb, and
Rev. Buster Liford officiating. Burial will follow in Doolin Cemetery at Heidrick,
with Corey Owens, Logan Owens, Christopher Jackson, Alex Sprinkles, Rollie
